The Specialist for Reserve Brands and Wines will focus on On Premise accounts that are high value/volume premium spirits & wine. The Specialist's task is to meet the Annual Operating Plan goals of sales volume and to increase Diageo's penetration of the wine category. This role will deliver excellent execution at the point of purchase to ensure Diageo can beat the competition. You will build strong and durable relationships with key influencers to engage them as ambassadors for Diageo's brands.

***An element of evening and weekend work is required for successful execution of this role, i.e. 1 night per week and 1 weekend day per month***


Qualifications

- Post Secondary education with either developed or developing wine knowledge and qualifications.
- Have or are expected to complete either WSET or International Sommelier qualifications.
- Passion for wine and the wine business
- Food service experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and proven track record for hitting objectives.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with an international outlook that has formed an appreciation of wine and food will be key to working in this environment.
